Commercial Grain Bin
Features
- Flat-bottom storage bins: diameters
ranging from 15 feet (4.6 meters) to 105 feet (32 meters) and capacities
from 6,200 bushels (200 cubic meters) to 680,000 bushels (22,500 cubic
meters).
- Hopper-bottom storage bins: diameters
ranging from 15 feet (4.6 meters) to 36 feet (10.9 meters) and
capacities from 2,900 bushels (100 cubic meters) to 58,000 bushels
(1,900 cubic meters).
- Models available with wide-corrugation
(4-in./10-cm) or narrow-corrugation (2.6-in./6.8-cm) sidewall
designs.
- Brock offers several diameter-based
roof options that help balance performance with price. The resulting bin
roof peak capacities range from 2,000 pounds (907 kilograms) to 10,000
pounds (4,536 kilograms) depending on bin diameter.
- Brock’s all-galvanized steel sidewall
stiffener is the strongest available.
- Sidewall stiffeners mount on either
outside or inside of bin for the same price.
- Top quality prime steel sidewall body
sheets are 8 through 20 gauge galvanized steel with a tensile strength
up to 65 ksi (448 Mpa). On taller models, Brock uses two sidewall panels
laminated together for greater strength.
- Identification codes on every body
sheet identify manufacturing date, part number, and steel gauge.
- Bin assembly bolts are
corrosion-resistant with weather-seal washers.
- Optional grade #8.2 rust-proof
polypropylene-encapsulated bin assembly bolts also available for narrow
corrugation bins.
- Bin anchor system securely fastens bin
to foundation and is designed to withstand winds up to 90 mph (145 kph).
